20110131 Autumn in Winter

Mommy and dear son
took advantage of the sun
A meme for shadows

Visit here for more
Sure it is a lot of fun

Go there to find out

The leaves on the trees
hold on to their source of life
Cannot tell till when

Is it Autumn still?
No it's not, it's winter now
Haste Spring soon arrives

What's this winter like?
Days of Autumn bright and cool
Dark and chilly nights

Please tell me the truth
Haiku my heart can this be?

  1. Is sunshine scarce where you are? Just wondering...

    IF YOU SEE A SHADOW

    If you see a shadow
And want to keep it near,
    Point your trusty shooter
    (Make sure the lens is clear);
    Press with care the shutter,
Do not slam or sock it—
    Then you’ll have a photo
    To carry in your pocket!

  4. It looks like your son is taller than you. My son has just become taller than me and is so proud!

  5. Hi Magical Mystical Teacher, That's a nice poem, thank you and thank you for visiting. The sun is never scarce where we are, fact is, we hide and keep it away most of the time. This photo was taken around the time when it is most welcome though, when we were waiting to watch the sunset.

  7. Hi Boonie, thanks for the visit. It is taken inside the National Sun Yat Sen University Campus' running track located right beside the harbor.
